Departures (Okuribito)
When an out-of-work cellist answers an ad for a job in 'Departures' he thinks it may have something to do with travel. Instead, Daigo discovers that his new employer is a master in the ritual preparation of corpses for cremation.

Despite the social stigma and a few comical awkward moments (such as when Daigo is called on to 'act' as a corpse in an instructional video), the young man gradually comes to find unexpected meaning - and discover a profound sense of grace - in his new line of work.
