Still Walking (Aruitemo aruitemo)
Three generations of a Japanese family reunite over the course of a languorous Summer's day to commemorate the tragic death of a beloved son years earlier.
Long-nurtured resentments and disappointments erupt in unexpected moments as the elderly parents, adult siblings and relative newcomers to the family - a young widow with a son who has married into the family seems to cause their patriarch the most consternation - regard each other variously with kindness, impatience and, in lighter moments, gentle bemusement.
