Star Voyager Cadets Competition
By submitting an entry to the Star Voyager Cadets competition, the entrant agrees to the following Terms and Conditions:
- A maximum of three (3) photographs or videos can be submitted per person.
- Photographs or videos must be original and belong to the entrant. The original digital file(s) must be kept for reference, as they may be required to demonstrate this is your own work.
- Copyright of photographs or videos must be owned by the entrant and be clear of rights. Please do not watermark images.
- Entrants should obtain written permission from identifiable people featuring in photographs or videos.
- Photographs or videos including children (under the age of 18) will only be accepted with express written consent from parents and guardians - it is the entrant's responsibility to obtain this consent.
- Written consents may need to be provided to ACMI; the failure to provide such consents upon request may result in disqualification of your entry.
- The Star Voyager Cadets competition is open to all Australian residents. The consent of a parent or guardian is required for entrants under the age of 18. A parent or guardian is required to read the Terms & Conditions and provide their details on the Entry Form as consent.
- By submitting your photos or videos you are granting ACMI permission to publish and reproduce your photograph(s) and your name (only the First Name of entrants under the age of 18 will be published). This includes, but is not limited to, reproduction on the ACMI website and affiliate websites, ACMI Flickr pages, ACMI Facebook pages, the ACMI Blog, the ACMI e-newsletter and print publications.
- To be eligible for selection as a finalist or the winner of the Star Voyager Cadets competition, entrants must be available to participate in filming at ACMI on Saturday 19 November 2011 from 9am to 5pm. Finalists will be provided lunch on the day, but are responsible for their own transport costs to and from ACMI, Federation Square, Melbourne.
- Competition closes Friday 4 November 2011 at 5pm AEST. All work must be submitted by the close of the competition to be eligible to win prizes.
- The finalists and competition winner will be selected by a panel of ACMI staff. The number of finalists selected will be at the sole discretion of ACMI.
- In determining the eligibility of entries and the selection of winning entries, the judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- ACMI reserves the right to exclude any photos or videos from this promotion at its sole discretion for reasons that may include, but are not limited to, the inclusion of unlawful, obscene or defamatory content, or the inclusion of private information of a third party.
- For video entries, YouTube's Terms of Use and Community Guidelines apply. YouTube is not a participant in, or sponsor of the Star Voyager Cadets competition.
- ACMI staff are permitted to enter, but are not eligible for prizes.
- ACMI may elect to award a prize or prizes at its own sole discretion. Finalists will be notified by email at the email address provided on the entry form. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
- Email addresses will be used by ACMI solely for the purpose of conducting this promotion and will not be disclosed to a third party. Further information on ACMI's Privacy Policy is available at http://www.acmi.net.au/privacy.htm
- To the extent permitted by law, ACMI shall not be liable for any loss, damage or damage whatsoever (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with this promotion.
