Three Feather Nest dips into the mixed bag of performance that make up Melbourne's diverse performance scene to reveal new ways of making live art. The result is a showcase of spontaneous collaborations between emerging artists working with new forms of audio-visual performance and established arts practitioners, working both with traditional and more innovative media.
Shadow puppetry, live digital video manipulation, traditional woodwinds, turntablism, A/V cut-ups, live vocal mutations, real-time film-making and traditional dance will co-habit these free performances, exploring a sublime fusion of traditional art, technology and emerging performance practice.
