Located in the heart of Melbourne's meeting place, Federation Square, ACMI is the ideal place for conferences, forums, cocktail parties, dinners, product launches and special events tailored to your needs.

Spaces
Cinemas
ACMI's state-of-the-art cinemas are perfect for film screenings, product launches, stand-up comedy, lectures and presentations. Cinema 1 can seat up to 170, while Cinema 2 can seat up to 390.
The Cube
The Cube is a purpose-designed function space featuring floor-to-ceiling windows. It is ideal for meetings, workshops, lunches, cocktail events and dinners.
Studio 1
Featuring comfortable tiered seating, a large stage area and options for a projector and lectern, Studio 1 is suitable for presentations, workshops, seminars and launches. Green-screen and live camera feed capabilities allow for impressive and forward-thinking events. Studio 1 can seat 70 people or hold 90 for a stand-up party.
Lightwell
With its soaring glass ceilings overlooking Flinders Street, the Lightwell is the gateway to ACMI's galleries. This contemporary space, filled with natural light, is ideal for large receptions, launches and red-carpet premieres.
Screen Worlds
ACMI's stunning exhibition of the history of the moving image also doubles as an event space with a difference. With a backdrop of moving images, Hollywood glamour and interactive entertainment, it's a perfect location for cocktail parties.
