Luke YOU and ACMI proudly present this zine and film collaboration, YOU on Film. Starting with 'Dear You...' letters were written, disguises donned and stories, confessions and tales told to camera.
YOU on Film was created as part of ACMI Public Programs' A Series of Correspondences with artist Luke YOU. This is an edited version of the video that was distributed in Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Perth, Bendigo, Churchill, Castlemaine, Wollongong, Wagga Wagga, London, Glasgow, Chicago, San Francisco, Portland and Kansas City and screened at Brighton Zine Fair in England.
Luke You is a zine maker who has written and distributed a free weekly paper zine called YOU every week since November 2001. Luke is also the founder and coordinator of Melbourne's Sticky Institute, a not-for-profit Artist Run Initiative that specialises in zine culture.
