Community Stories about Places
Watch a selection of short films about Victoria curated for the MAP: Memory and Place and ACMI In the Regions projects.
These projects are a way to explore the collective memory of Victoria through the moving image. They seek to create a topography of memory for Victoria by absorbing the stories of its towns, suburbs and neighbourhoods and sharing them with its people.
Northern Victoria
Surrounded by the Goulburn Valley and the Murray River, this area is known for its natural beauty, expansive wetland region, wineries, and the largest Redgum forest in the world. You can also discover little homesteads and lots of farmland with access to the picturesque Snowy Mountains and the Mt Kosciuszko National Park.
