Join us for this special ACMI Crew Night presented with the Multicultural Mental Health Film Festival!

ACMI Crew Night is a FREE monthly gathering for filmmakers and film and TV crew to connect, grab a drink and find future collaborators.

Open to all, this special Crew Night will be co-hosted by the Multicultural Mental Health Film Festival (MMHFF) a grassroots-led, volunteer-driven festival.

Founded in 2023 to amplify voices often overlooked in mainstream cinema, the festival showcases bold, authentic short films exploring the intersections of mental health and cultural background.

MMHFF 2025's theme is ‘More Stories, More Conversations’, as the festival seeks to deepen its impact through inclusive storytelling and open dialogue, championing narratives that challenge stigma and foster connection.

Join us for Crew Night and meet some of the talented filmmakers whose work is featured in this year's festival.

Crew Night will be followed by New Voices in Australian Cinema: MMHFF at 7.30pm in Cinema 2. This screening showcases a curated selection of Australian short films, followed by an in-person Q&A moderated by SBS’s Mojdeh Kashani.
