Join us in the cinema for a free screening of shorts and music videos featuring the work of Joe Hisaishi.
To begin our film season celebrating the career of film score composer Joe Hisaishi, we've selected a collection of new short films and music videos created for some of his iconic musical works spanning thirty years.
The first short work, Summer, is a new short film featuring one of Joe Hisaishi's pieces of music from the Takeshi Kitano film, Kikujiro, newly reimagined through the experience of a high school video club on the last day of school. The program also includes musical works from Princess Mononoke and My Neighbor Totoro, along with a few surprises.
