Train to Busan unfolds during a terrifying outbreak of a mysterious virus in South Korea, which causes infected people to turn into aggressive zombies. On a KTX train traveling from Seoul to Busan, passengers including Seok-woo and his young daughter Su-an must fight for survival against relentless zombie attacks. As chaos spreads within the confined space of the speeding train, the passengers face not only external threats but also internal fear, selfishness, and conflict.

Amid the horror and desperation, the story deeply explores themes of family, love, sacrifice, and human resilience. Combining intense action sequences with emotional depth, Train to Busan stands as South Korea’s first major zombie thriller and has become a landmark film in the genre.

Train to Busan is the most purely entertaining zombie film in some time… it’s also just a wildly fun action movie, beautifully paced and constructed, with just the right amount of character and horror.
