After crossing paths on a ferry one warm summer’s evening in Oslo, pragmatic doctor Marianne and empathetic nurse Tor begin to question their understanding of intimacy, connection and the possibilities of unconventional relationships.

Tor is a queer man who’s accustomed to causal encounters. When he shares his perspective on love and relationships with Marianne, she starts to interrogate traditional notions of love and whether Tor’s relaxed approach is possible in her own life.
