Two heterosexual and married men, who work together as chimney sweeps, find their lives uprooted when their experiences force them to question long-held assumptions about identity and desire.

For one, a spontaneous sexual encounter with another man causes a rift with his wife, though he resolutely believes that this experience was representative neither of homosexuality, nor infidelity.

The other friend starts having sudden dreams of becoming a woman, causing him to wonder what aspects of his personality and identity are lying beneath the surface.
