Meet the developers
Apartment 809
Apartment 809 consists of Leura Smith and Katsumi Yoshida. Leura is creative director and has a background in architecture and games. Katsumi is our technical director, with a particular interest in technical art and music.
We’re currently working on Canvas Street – a game about being an architect.

Callum Chatfield
Callum was born and raised in regional Victoria, and games have played an essential part of their life, allowing them to connect with countless amounts of amazing people across the world. Which is why they have dedicated themselves to specialising in multiplay and bringing people together through virtual experiences.

Mally He
Mally is most passionate about level design and UI design. As a gamer, they love narrative based games, adventure games and puzzle games, but as a developer they are mainly interested in 2D platforming games with puzzle elements.

Secret Lab
Secret Lab is the longest-running game development studio in Tasmania and is best known for the ABC Play School Games and Night in the Woods. Yarn Spinner builds tools for video games and is used by everything from DREDGE to A Short Hike, to Venba. Mars Buttfield-Addison is a freelance technologist and STEM communicator. Meghann O’Neill is a game journalist and writer of official hint guides.

Tim Koch
Tim Koch is an Australian electronic musician and visual artist known for his intricate sound design and genre-blurring compositions. With releases spanning IDM, ambient and glitch, his work often bridges digital precision with emotional depth. Beyond audio, Koch explores 8-bit and retro computer aesthetics, crafting optical graphic art inspired by vintage systems like the Commodore 64. His creative output merges nostalgic technology with futuristic expression, establishing him as a unique voice in both underground electronic music and pixel-based visual art.
