| The Little Richard Story |

Musical dynamo Little Richard had found God and was fronting for southern bible salesmen by the late 1970s when Klein tracked him down to make this off-the-wall tribute to a fractured legend.
Classic rock and roll footage and television performances are fused with almost melancholic images of an America lost as the camera meanders through the performer's hometown of Macon visiting with family, old friends and neighbours.
The man at the centre of the film goes missing but the roll call of impersonators that fill the frame offer a bizarre counterpoint to the lure of fame.
