News reporting: Virtual Lesson

Virtual lesson

In this 45-minute talk, students explore the role of a responsible reporter and how to identify authentic news and biased reporting how to differentiate between expert opinion and opinion. They learn about the difference between primary and secondary sources and how to create their own quality news report.

This virtual lesson encourages active engagement and critique and is framed by pre and post-lesson learning.
