VCE English Unit 4: Reading and Comparing Texts
Tracks and Charlie's Country- recorded lecture
Wherever there is a pressure to conform, there is a requirement to resist...
Tracks and Charlie's Country are post-colonial texts that highlight issues around social justice and cultural respect, while exploring themes relating to identity, belonging, community and country.
This in-depth recorded lecture explores points of comparison and difference, and highlights the language and techniques used to convey ideas in both film and text.
The session runs for approximately 60 minutes and is supported by a free Q&A videoconference.
Available to stream via ACMI's Cinema 3 platform from 9 am, 1 June 2021.
