Creating cinemagraphs

Workshop + exhibition visit

Students explore the history of looped animations from Magic Lanterns to GIFS, before utilising advanced post-production techniques to create captivating moving-image artworks that blend live-action filmmaking and stills photography.

Students will:

- explore the history of looped animations

- discover cinemagraphs and how they're made

- plan, produce and edit their own cinemagraphs

Important information

This workshop runs for 105 minutes and includes a visit to the ACMI exhibition at either 11:00 am (afternoon booking) or 12:00 pm (morning booking).
