About the program

Experience the excitement and glamour of Indian cinema from the 1920s - 1940s. Focusing on the legendary film studio founded by filmmaker Himansu Rai (1892-1940) and his movie-star wife Devika Rani (1908-1994), this exhibition offers an insight into film production, cinema history and Indian culture.

Book an educator-led introduction to explore key themes or visit as part of your Screen Worlds booking. 

Educator-led Introduction includes a 20 minute presentation, followed by time in the exhibition. Allow 60 minutes for your visit.
