“Dhanush's radiant charm [adds] humour and sincerity to a project that mixes magical realism, deadpan comedy, musical numbers and moments of tear-jerking drama”

The Hollywood Reporter

Tamil-born Bollywood heartthrob Dhanush is the winning lead in director Ken Scott’s fantastically feel-good adventure comedy, based on Romain Puertolas' best-selling book. Aja, a wily youngster from the slums of Mumbai raised by a devoted single mother, discovers that his father, Pierre, was a French street performer. Determined to reconnect with him after the death of his mother, Aja pools his meagre resources to fly to Paris with only his passport, mother’s ashes and a fake 100 Euro bill in tow.

Shot on location in Mumbai, Paris, Brussels and Rome, Scott’s irresistibly bright and breezy musical comedy co-stars Berenice Bejo (The Artist) and Erin Moriarty.
