“[an] endearing comedy on spirituality, ideology and survival”
Adam, (Holy Air writer and director Shady Srour), a Christian Arab living in Nazareth, has a lot on his plate. His elderly father is ill and Adam and his beautiful, strong-willed wife, Lamia (Laetitia Eido) have a child on the way. With a string of failed business schemes behind him, he needs something to go his way. Inspired by the pilgrims who descend daily on the Holy Land, he hatches a plan to sell ‘sacred’ air from the biblical hilltop of Mount Precipice. But with Nazareth at the intersection of multiple social and religious cross-currents, Adam has to run the gauntlet of Christian church officials, Jewish bureaucrats and Muslim Mafiosi to get his venture off the ground.
