About the program

A 12-year-old boy, struggling with his parents’ divorce, is convinced a new bullet train will create a miracle. This film offers an intimate portrayal of everyday Japanese life, as well as an insight into the country’s complex geography.

This program runs for approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes. This includes an introduction followed by a screening of the film.
