An image from Nothing to Lose featuring a dancer

Nothing to Lose follows the fierce, fat and unapologetically queer cast of Force Majeure’s award-winning, groundbreaking dance theatre production of the same name. Nothing to Lose explores the inherent movement potential of the fat body and the relationship the extraordinary cast of the production have with themselves. We follow their journey from the first auditions to the sell out opening night at Sydney Festival 2015.

Nothing to Lose had its World Premiere at the 42nd Frameline Film Festival in San Francisco (June 2018) and its Australian Premiere at the Queer Screen Film Festival (September 2018).

Join us at ACMI Conversations beforehand to talk about Body Politics and the Moving Image.
