Recipient of five awards at the Venice Film Festival, Still Recording is an up close and personal documentation of the Syrian civilian insurgency told from the perspective of two art students, Saeed and Milad. The pair leave Damascus for Douma to take part in the revolution with visions of transforming hearts and minds through art, but the situation on the ground quickly deteriorates into chaos, thrusting them into a desperate fight for survival.

Crafted from over 450 hours of visually arresting footage and smuggled out of Syria, Still Recording is a compelling, distressing, hopeful and heart-stopping film that finds humanity and hope where all seems lost.
