"You want me to respect the law? Then make the law respectable."

The movement for women’s suffrage is explored from the perspective of Maud, a laundry worker who faces a bitter struggle for equality.

The talk provides context, explores themes, narrative elements and the representation of historical events.

This program runs for approximately 3 hours and 10 minutes. This includes a screening of the film, a short interval and a 60 minute lecture.
