Untitled is all about rhythmic, hyper-edited facial close-ups.
In front of the two big screens, you'll find small electronic piano keyboards which trigger the footage. Then you're in the driver's seat, recutting and remoulding the footage into the absurdly entertaining selfies you never knew you needed.
This project has been commissioned by Carriageworks and assisted by the Australian Government through the Australia Council for the Arts, its arts funding and advisory body.

About the artists
Byron Perry is a performing artist based in Melbourne, and has developed and performed roles with Douglas Wright, Leigh Warren, Chunky Move, Lucy Guerin, Ballet Lab, DV8 Physical Theatre, Force Majeure, KAGE Physical Theatre and many more. Byron’s work has been consistently recognised by the Australian Dance Awards and Greenroom Awards, and in 2011 he was awarded the inaugural Harold Mitchell fellowship for professional development in direction and choreography.
Antony Hamilton is an Australian choreographer. He has created works for The Lyon Opera Ballet, Skanes Dansteater, Chunky Move, Australian Dance Theatre and Dancenorth among others. Antony received a number of awards, including the Helpmann Award for Best Choreography in a Dance or Physical Theatre Work. Antony was inaugural recipient of the Russell Page Fellowship in 2004, the Tanja Liedtke Fellowship in 2009 a Creative Australia Fellowship in 2012, and a Sidney Myer Creative Fellowship in 2014.
