To celebrate Melbourne International Games Week 2018 we have special guest Leighton Gray joining us to talk about cult hit Dream Daddy: A Dad Dating Simulator,  other games she's worked on or loved and her experience of working in the industry.

Leighton Gray is a writer, illustrator, story consultant and game developer based out of Los Angeles, California. She is the art director at Fullbright and also the co-creator, co-writer, and art director of Dream Daddy: A Dad Dating Simulator.

About the club

Grab your controller, your mouse or your keyboard: it’s time to talk videogames!

Inspired by the beloved book club, the Women & Non-Binary Gamers Club is a chance for women and non-binary folks to get together, play videogames and share a joint passion in a safe and accepting space.

Level up your gaming knowledge, discover and play new videogames, geek out over old favourites, meet fellow gamers and help build a community.

Where to go

You can find us in Studio One at ACMI (enter from Federation Square).

What to expect

For this special edition, we're running from 6pm till 9pm.

The first hour of the meet is dedicated to play time (we'll have Dream Daddy: A Dad Dating Simulator set up and ready to go) and the second hour to conversation with Leighton. If conversation isn't for you, you're welcome to keep playing.

At 8pm we will all move into the ACMI Bar & Cafe to continue the conversation with drinks at Happy Hour prices.
