About social commentary

A story can change the world. We want that story to be told.

We want to affect our surrounding community, creating awareness and engagement for stronger movements of social and cultural change.

As a museum, we are multidisciplinary, complex and challenging. Together with conferences and film festivals devoted to social justice, human rights, gender diversity, environmental awareness among other issues we bring a line of communication between filmmakers and the public. As a hub for networking and participation we offer a vibrant space to discuss and share ideas.

We want to contribute to an ecosystem of transformation and foster a space where conversation for social change and justice can have an incisive influence on our community.

"In a world where dialogue is moving to the shouting of slogans let’s use complexity theory to place our museums in the mix of institutions that provide civil dialogue”. (Elaine Heumann Gurian, The Importance of And)
