Surcouf

The first of two films (in our collection) recounting the exploits of famous privateer Robert Surcouf and starring Gerard Barray. On 6 October 1801, in the Sea of Bengal, Surcouf and his crew attack the English vessel ‘Kent’. See also: Le Retour de Surcouf (X000345, 16mm).
