Algeria, 1961. Laughter and music escape from an old sea-side house. Helene, Jean and Pierre try to remain oblivious to the reality surrounding them and their own insecurities. False illusion of peace and poisonned relations with friends are their lot while they attempt to spend one last summer as if nothing was happening. Award: Prix Jean Vigo 1979.
