Eighteen-year old Juliette who grew up in a rural area in France has come to Paris to live. She scrapes by through begging, lives in a condemned building, and steals food occasionally at supermarkets. Her boyfriend would like her to settle down and get married, but Juliette seems to enjoy this hand-to-mouth existence.
