A group of schoolchildren decide to work during their holidays in order to pay for a large glass window they have broken while playing soccer in the schoolyard. But their treasure is under threat. Filmed during the Occupation, this ‘poetic realist’ film extolls the virtues of solidarity and mateship inherited from the Popular Front era.
