Episode 1 of Series “Lagardere”.
Philippe de Gonzague has vowed to become the master of the richest estate in France. To achieve this, he has to destroy the lives of all those standing in his way. His first victim will be his friend Philippe de Nevers, his wife Blanche de Caylus and their young daughter, Aurore, who stands to inherit the estate. Gonzague sends two fencing masters, Staupitz and Cocardasse to eliminate Nevers, meanwhile, Henri (aka the little Parisian) who works as an acrobat in a travelling circus is told by his nanny the secret of his origins. As Henri comes out to stake his claim on his estate, he finds himself embroiled in Gonzague’s web of intrigue, murder and kidnapping. This popular story hs been adapted to the screen many times.
