This documentary tells the life story of Lionel Terray who became one of the most famous French mountaineer after World War II. The footage used in this documentary has been filmed by friends and fellow mountaineers like Maurice Herzog and Jacques Ertaud. It contains breathtaking scenes of expeditions conducted by Terray in the Himalayas and the Andes.
