The peaceful life of the residents of a toy shop is disturbed by a goverment order declaring war on all toys and ordering their destruction. A mechanical acrobat, in love with a wax doll, must become a toy soldier in order to restore peace in the shop. While he is away, the wax doll falls prey to a nasty toy bird.
