Victims of crime and convicted felons are brought together for a series of meetings to gain understanding in Jeanne Herry’s humanistic portrait of characters navigating life after crime.

Fanny and Michel are trained restorative justice facilitators. After recruiting a small group of participants, they lead a series of workshops designed to share perspectives in the aftermath of crime. Taking part are Nassim, a thief who is reluctant to take part, Sabine, an elderly woman who has become reclusive after a robbery, and Issa, a convicted felon who seems unable to take responsibility for his crimes.

Through a series of meetings, the participants each offer honest accounts of their stories.

Curator’s Note
Actors and performance are key to All Your Faces.

Coming from a showbiz family, Jeanne Herry began her film career as an actor before moving into directing. With this background in mind, it makes sense that All Your Faces celebrates acting, giving the cast plenty of oxygen to express their characters' voices and perspectives. It’s natural, conversational and also at times monologic.
Giving life to these characters is an all-star French cast, including Dali Benssalah (No Time to Die), Élodie Bouchez (Enzo) and Adèle Exarchopoulos (Blue is the Warmest Colour), who received a César award for her performance.

All Your Faces was a hit in France upon its original release.

Directing with subtle visual flair, Herry weaves a riveting and resonant tapestry that argues for a positive, progressive vision of society.
