Join us in the cinema for a big adventure taking us from the bustling city to the depths of the ocean.

Ben can’t wait to become a big brother, but the night his sister Saoirse is born, his mother disappears into the sea. Six years later, Ben is still struggling with the loss, and with being an older sibling, finding comfort instead in the company of his loyal sheepdog, Cú.

Everything changes on Saoirse’s sixth birthday when she’s mysteriously drawn into the ocean and transforms into a white seal. Alarmed by her connection to the sea, their granny brings both children to live with her in the city. But the pull of home proves too strong.

Determined to return to their lighthouse by the water, Ben and Saoirse set out on a journey that leads them through forests, over bridges, and into the world of ancient Celtic spirits. As they move deeper into the magical realm, they learn that emotions, even the hardest ones, are part of what keeps us human. Without them, we risk turning to stone.

With exquisite hand‑drawn animation and a heartfelt story, Song of the Sea remains a beloved modern classic and an Academy Award nominee for Best Animated Feature.

Song of the Sea is a stunning, magical piece of animation and an entertaining return for Tomm Moore and Cartoon Saloon.
