After hours, the room hosts one-off sessions, talks, and listening parties from RISING artists who you wouldn’t usually get to see up close. The lineup has been curated by Yasmine Sharaf host of Cease + Desist on Triple R and Robin Fox, co-founder and artistic director of MESS.

Karim aka Rotational is a Rotterdam-based DJ and digger. His practice starts from a question more than a genre: what do you find when you stop looking for what you already know?

The moment he stopped chasing and started listening, the whole thing changed. The best records he's found were the ones he wasn't looking for. The clearest example: a 7-inch with Cheb Khaled's Didi on it, pulled from a bin in a tiny shop in the French Ardennes – the same music that had played in his parents' car for ten years and never clicked, suddenly arriving on his own terms. Digging became the way he discovered his own heritage.

His Listening Room session sits inside that question. Records traced across borders and generations. Underneath all of it: the existential question – what makes a good digger, and what does that mean.
