A true renaissance man of hip hop. Williams helped put slam poetry on the map before becoming one of the world’s most formidable MCs. A vivid voice on social justice and protest in the Internet Age, he’s worked with everyone from Trent Reznor and De La Soul to Zac De La Rocha and The Fugees. Williams will be presenting his most recent record Saul Williams Meets Carlos Nino & Friends At TreePeople. The conceptual record is a form of political happening, blending jazz, poetry and activism.
