What is happing in #SuezCanal today explained

2021

Film
A screenshot of a twitter feed that features the container ship Ever Given photoshopped onto a scene from Austin Powers, in a underground tunnel, trying to back a small cart back and forth. Austin has brown hair and thick rimmed black glasses.

This video features in a responsive display in the museum that presents the moments, stories and memes capturing the zeitgeist by going viral on the internet.

On March 23, the Ever Given container ship got stuck in the Suez Canal like a car abandoned during a bad park, causing ships delivering supplies around the world to be blocked. Though a catastrophe, the internet responded with hilarious memes, like this one that married the logistical absurdity with an equally absurd scene from Austin Powers.
