Christopher Hood (24 March 1943 – 20 January 2020) was a Canadian television editor, director, writer and producer. He is best known as the co-creator of the Degrassi franchise alongside Linda Schuyler. He was a director and writer of The Kids of Degrassi Street, Degrassi Junior High, and Degrassi High, the latter two of which established the franchise's popularity and longevity.
