Introduce your students to this exuberant film adaptation of Tony Briggs’ celebrated play. Driven by strong female characters, The Sapphires explores family, identity and forgiveness with reference to the Stolen Generations. After the screening, students learn more about themes, issues and historical context and focus on narrative techniques and film language.

Session includes film, short interval and a 40 minute discussion.
