Hidden Figures tells the true story of three Black women at NASA who overcame racial and gender barriers to make vital contributions to the space race. The film celebrates intelligence, perseverance, and teamwork, while inspiring audiences to recognize and challenge the barriers that still exist today.
After the screening, students learn more about themes, issues and historical context and focus on narrative techniques and film language.
Session includes film, short interval and a 40 minute discussion.
Bookings
To make a new booking, a minimum of 50 students is required.
