an iconic story in the tradition of great Australian tales, how a man, his wife and his mates profoundly changed the nation
Born on Mer/Murray Island, Eddie Koiki Mabo fought for his and his people’s history and connection to be acknowledged under Australian law. This biopic tells the story of the man behind the Mabo High Court decision highlighting the struggle and sacrifice involved.
This program includes a screening of the film, a short break and a 40-minute talk.
