Picnic at Hanging Rock - Professional Learning Day

Here at ACMI, we are excited at the inclusion of Peter Weir's haunting and ethereal film on the 2027 text list for VCE English and EAL.

Beginning with a screening in ACMI's Cinema 2 of the recent 4K restoration of Weir's Director's Cut, this professional learning program also includes:

• lecture from our ACMI expert focusing on context, film language and themes
• lecture from experienced teacher Karen Welberry on teaching strategies
• workshop on scene analysis
• teaching resources
• morning tea and lunch

In addition, we have capped this program to keep your professional learning experience comfortable and collaborative.
