The Holdovers VCE film program

Introduce your students to this moving and funny exploration of class, privilege, and makeshift family.

This program includes a screening of the film, a short break, and a 60-minute lecture focusing on context, characterisation, themes and filmmaking techniques, particularly the film's 1970s look and feel.

Bookings

This program is available from Mon 2 Nov 2026, and Semester 1 2027 sessions are now available.

To make a new booking, a minimum of 50 students is required.
