I set the story far in the future, on a rugged northern island that was formed by rising seas, and that had a diverse array of weather and flora and fauna.
Peter Brown

Adapted from the celebrated graphic novel by Peter Brown, this beautiful and heartfelt animation explores themes of friendship and community.

When Roz the robot is washed up on a small island, she becomes the unlikely carer for a small gosling. As Roz learns about the responsibilities of caring for others, the other creatures on the island follow her example and learn to get along for the sake of survival.

The screening of this film is preceded by a 15 minute introduction that tunes students into the creative process underpinning this highly-praised animation.
