Outside the headsets, something unexpected takes shape, a spontaneous, living sculpture visible to anyone in the space, whether they came to see it or simply wandered past.
Award-winning Taiwanese director Chou Tung-Yen — whose XR work has been selected for the Venice Film Festival twice — is fascinated by what the technology unlocks: not just what each person experiences inside the headset, but what emerges in the room when it does: a room full of strangers, without a word spoken, moving as one. Nobody knows each other. Nobody has rehearsed. And yet.
