With all of the extra time that everyone is currently spending at home, there has never been a better time to pick up a new game – or perhaps to begin making one. The Games Talks 2020 series brings together some of Australia’s best and brightest coders, leaders, developers, artists and animators to take you behind the scenes of their games and their careers, and to answer your questions.
About Jason Imms
Jason Imms has worked in software quality assurance for the better part of 20 years and is currently the global head of QA for LiveTiles, an enterprise software company that extremely doesn't make games. But before that he ran The Machine QA, providing QA services and consulting to indie games studios in Australia and the US, working on titles including Armello, Mark of the Ninja, and The Framed Collection, to name a few. He also worked as a freelance journalist for some of the world's most recognisable games mastheads. Jason is a father of five, staunchly Tasmanian, sits on the Freeplay board and is one of the founders of Tasmanian Game Makers.
