GUCK: Game Art Workshop

All ages

Workshop

When

Sat 14 Jan 2023

11am–4pm

Create bright, bold and colourful artworks based on the breathtaking art in Australia’s first ever Aboriginal-led videogame, Future Folklore.

Add your creations to our communal wall to become part of a playful animation that sees nature burst forth within the ACMI building.

Presented in partnership with GUCK, this inclusive and creative workshop involves a special preview of artwork from Future Folklore. This unreleased and in-development gorgeous mobile game invites you to restore the bush and care for Country through a uniquely Indigenous lens, all located in a futuristic fantasy Australian-bush-inspired setting.

While you're at ACMI, explore GUCK artist Jarra Karalinar Steel's brand new interactive work as part of our summer exhibition How I See It: Blak Art and Film.
