Human Rights Arts & Film Festival 2021 (HRAFF)

HRAFF is excited to announce its 2021 program, 'Shifting Patterns': 10 days of film, music and conversation that celebrate truth, wisdom, change and balance.

Taking place from 22 April – 1 May, Shifting Patterns is a nod to the individual, social and systemic changes we are witnessing or working toward at this moment in time.

The essence of this theme is balance – balance of ideas, voices, priorities, perspectives and power. Balance enables us to move forward. Balance creates space for clarity, to help us see things as they really are.

Audiences are invited to support local artists and community organisations by purchasing tickets to this year's festival. Many of our events include a performance or conversation panel, thoughtfully curated to leave audiences feeling inspired and motivated to champion social change through creativity.

Through partnerships with grassroots organisations such as GRID Series, Blaxcellence and Footscray Community Arts Centre, Shifting Patterns will set the tone for a powerful, collaborative reemergence of our arts sector.
